Klenk aviation snips originated when Karl Klenk, their inventor, designed and patented the tools for the aviation industry. “Aviation snips” became the term to describe snips used to cut sheet metal. Klenk aviation snips are designed and engineered for durability and fast, easy, and accurate cutting. Over the years, Klenk developed and manufactured new tools to meet the evolving needs of the HVACR industry, and new markets into which Klenk eventually expanded -- construction, roofing, and siding. Shears/Scissors - Klenk DA70040 Straight Pattern Tinner's Shears are designed to cut straight, as well as wide curves to the left or right. Drop forged of high carbon steel, induction hardened cutting edges.

Tongs - Klenk MT14000 Fairmont Seaming Tongs, also known as forged hand seamers, are powerful and versatile additions to any tool box. They are used in HVACR, metal roofing, and many other sheet metal applications. Fairmont tongs are forged and plated -- and fully guaranteed against manufacturing defects. Bending depth marks on tong jaws. Regular or offset handle models. Also available with cushion grip handles, which provide a softer, more comfortable grip. Tongs are 9-1/2" long, with a 3" wide by 1-1/8" deep jaw.

Inspection Mirrors - Klenk MA70030 telescoping mirror, available either round or rectangular, extends to 36'' for hard-to-reach spots. Chrome-plated shaft is rust- and corrosion-resistant. Mirror is slightly oversized and has universal joint allowing adjustment to any angle. Lighted, magnetic pick-up tool features bright, white LED light -- no light bulbs to replace. Measures 7-5/8'' when closed, the chrome-plated shaft extends 26''. Five-pound, rare earth magnet is strong, and the magnet shield directs magnetic force to the tool’s tip, not to its sides, allowing more control. Light turns off automatically when not in use. Uses three button-cell batteries (included). Both mirror and pick-up tool come in fitted, black plastic case. Case measures 9-3/4'' x 3-1/2'' closed. Fits easily in your tool box.
